Purchases

Appearance of the Product:

There may be times in which the product models may differ slightly from the photo on the website to the product received.  This will be noted on the website, or communicated with you directly.  

Some Toys may be photographed with other products, for example have a switch attached.  This is for illustration purposes only, and does not imply that the products are part of the set.  What is included with a product will listed under the product description.

Ordering:

Some of our products are custom-made. For these products, once the online order has been processed we will be in contact with further information.

New Toys:

Please note, warranty for toys are limited to 3 months, and will not be applicable to damage to a product which is caused by any factors beyond our control.

Refunds/Returns will not be accepted unless prior approval has been sort, and is not normally accepted if you:

  • Damaged the product after purchase due to alterations NOT performed by us,

  • Damage to the product due to improper use: or

  • There is no proof of purchase.

If the product, once arrived, is deemed unsuitable, you must apply within 14 days of delivery for authority to return the items, as either an exchange or credit. All items for return must have prior approval first.  All goods must be in their original packaging and be in “as new” condition within fourteen days of the date of shipment. 

Please note that not all goods can be returned, and the customer is responsible for all freight charges incurred with the return of the product.   

Products that the client supplies to be ‘Switch Adapted’.

Any product that the client supplies to be ‘Switch Adapted’, needs to be approved first.  This is to ensure:

  • Product can be adapted

  • Is in condition to be adapted.

  • Is in a hygienic condition for our staff to handle; and

  • Any other reason that may need to be addressed.  

Local Pick-Up and Delivery

We offer local pick up from our office locations. Please be advised that not all of our items are available for delivery.

Upon Delivery:

If the item has been posted, as soon as the package arrives, please inspect it.  Do not throw any of the original packaging.  Inspect the item taking note (and possibly photos) to damaged packaging.

If the product has been damaged in transit, they must be reported within 5 working days for insurance claims.

Change of mind returns

Please note that products cannot be returned and custom-orders cannot be cancelled once we have shipped them. If you do have a concern and wish to speak to a representative please email admin@allsortsdevelopmental.com.au as soon as you are able.

Faulty item returns

If you believe your item is faulty please make contact with our team right away by emailing admin@allsortsdevelopmental.com.au. We will require proof of purchase and 3 photos of product before providing a faulty item remedy under the Australian Consumer Law.

Where an item is damaged through misuse, abnormal or accidental damage, AllSorts Developmental will not provide a refund or replacement. AllSorts Developmental also can take into account how much time has passed since you bought the product, and consider the following factors: the type of products, the length of time the products is likely to be used, the amount of use it could reasonably be expected to tolerate before the failure becomes noticeable.

If the item is deemed faulty, AllSorts Developmental will refund your return postage. Please email admin@allsortsdevelopmental.com.au to organise.

Incorrect item return

In the event that the wrong item is shipped to you please contact admin@allsortsdevelopmental.com.au with proof of purchase and 3 photos to proceed with rectifying the issue.
