A PODD book is a comprehensive system to support people with complex communication needs to express their thoughts, needs, and participate in conversations. 

PODD books are designed to suit the needs of the user. Customisation may include:

  • Alternative access methods: Pick up and give, coded, eye gaze or partner assisted visual scanning (PAVS).

  • High contrast symbols.

  • 1 or 2 page opening.  

  • Group PODD (ideal for class or group settings)

Because a PODD book should be fully customised to the user, we will consult with you to discuss your specific requirement and tailor the vocabulary to your daily life.
